I was worried that my senior would not find the picture she wanted, but that certainly did not come true. There were so many incredible pictures we had trouble picking the one for the yearbook since they were all so beautiful! It was worth every cent! I have such gorgeous pictures, not only for the yearbook, but for my home, that literally make me stop and stare and always smile every time I walk past them. My favorite part was getting the MyPix Photo Album. I could tell that the shoot went well, but seeing the actual pictures was so fun and emotional!
Cassandra was very professional, has a fabulous eye and does high quality work.

I was hesitant about spending the money and not knowing exactly how the pictures were going to come out. But we love the pictures – they were worth every penny!
Going on location at the beach to watch the different shots that were taken was my favorite part. As parents we felt like we were part of the experience and we can look back on those pictures remembering for real when they were taken. Cassandra is just an excellent photographer! Very comfortable and easy to work with!

Hi, I’m Cassandra!
And I’m really bad at taking selfies.
I’ve been a professional photographer for over 30 years, and photographing high school seniors and families on Cape Cod beaches for 24 years.
Senior Year can be an overwhelming experience, and I’m here to guide you through the whole senior pictures and yearbook part of it. I’ll make it easy for you and you’ll have stunning photos of your soon-to-be-adult, that you’ll cherish for years.
How Much do Senior Pictures Cost?
The average family spends between $950 and $1500 on their son or daughter’s senior picture package, however some spend more, and some spend less. To give some perspective, an 8×10 costs $85, but that’s only if you purchase just 1 8×10 and nothing else. I have some pre-built collections, or you can build your own package! You’ll receive my full price and product catalog when you book your session. When you come in to view your senior pictures and place your order, I’ll put pricing and packages together for you based on what you need and/or want, and to make sure you get the best value.
Prints – Framed and Canvas, Folio Boxes, Albums, Products, and Digitals are all available for purchase!
All the images you purchase will be fully retouched, with natural editing – this includes clearing skin, teeth whitening, removal of stray hairs on your face and around your head, fixing tan lines, removing braces – YES! that’s possible! – and other image enhancements that you and I feel are needed.
STARTING A LA CARTE PRICES:
Wall Portraits, Large Prints & Collages start at $270
Albums start at $590
Small Prints – 8×10’s and 5×7’s start at $85
Special Value Luxe Collections start at $990
Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time to book senior pictures?
Now! It’s never too early – I only schedule one senior portrait session (or 2 minis) on the beach per day, and I do leave dates open every week to leave room for reschedules in case of inclement weather, so dates fill up quickly and far in advance!
The summer goes by so fast – and there’s lots to do – college visits, family vacations, and fall sports start up before school opens (sometimes a month before!).
I recommend booking your senior pictures as early in the summer as you can, that way we have time to reschedule if needed because of inclement weather, and we can make sure we meet your yearbook deadline, too.
There’s only so many sunsets per summer!
What if it rains on the day of my session?
Weather on Cape Cod can be unpredictable. So many rainy days this past summer, too! (Another reason to book early so there’s time to reschedule!) I leave a couple of dates open every week so I have room for raindates.
If you’re only visiting Cape Cod for a week, I recommend booking as early in the week as you can so we’ll have a raindate at the end of the week.
I will be in touch with you the day before and the day of your session to discuss any forecasted weather concerns. Usually only rainy days or excessive wind can be cause for rescheduling or cancellation. Cloudy days are awesome! If the weather is iffy, we’ll make the call together a few hours before your session. The very best sunsets are when a storm is moving out! We don’t want to cancel too far ahead!
Do I get all the digitals?
Your session fee and retainer does not automatically include any digitals. But your order credit can go towards purchasing digitals.
You can purchase high-resolution (fully-edited) printable digitals instead of prints if you’re the DIY-type, but honestly it’s not your most economical solution (some are included in packages, though!)
If your school requires a digital to submit to the yearbook – I will do that for you!
If you just want digitals so you can share your senior pictures with friends and family online (and who doesn’t!), you’ll get – with the images you order – one of my most popular products – the “MyPix Photo App”, which is a digital photo album that you download to your smart phone or tablet (there is no limit to who can download and number of times, so you can share with anyone you want), view in a web browser, and share the images on social media. These images are watermarked and not printable. Your app will contain the images that you’ve purchased as a print or in a product, and/or in an album.
Click here to see a sample MyPix Photo App.
We took so many pictures – how will we choose?
You’ll come to my home office in Wareham (or online via Zoom) for your View & Order appointment, and we’ll start out with a fun slideshow video of your session projected on a big screen TV.
Next, we’ll go through all your photos and I’ll help you narrow them down to the ones you love. Then I’ll guide you to match the images you love with the products that you need and want. I can even help you select your yearbook photo!
With state-of-the-art software and photos of the walls in your home, I can show your son or daughter’s portrait scaled to the correct size onto your walls, so you can see exactly what their senior portrait will look like on your wall.
There are many different products to choose from, including framed or canvas wall portraits, custom digital art composites, albums, image boxes, digital albums, digital images and graduation party invitations. I will help you put together a custom Senior Picture Package with exactly what you want and neeed.
Do you edit the photos?
The ‘proofs’ you will see at your View & Order appointment will be lightly edited, but any purchased images will be fully retouched – that includes clearing skin, removing stray hairs, whitening teeth, removing tan lines, removing braces (yes we can do that!) and removing distracting objects and other people from the background. I edit very ‘naturally’ – basically anything that is temporary will be edited out, and I don’t over-edit skin and eyes. Your input on editing is always welcome!
Can we do a quick family session at the same time?
Absolutely! – but we need to limit to parents and siblings only due to time constraits. If you’re vacationing on Cape Cod, this is the perfect time to get a family photograph!
It’s just an additional $35 because we’ll extend your session by 15 minutes. When you book online, just check the “Add a Family Portrait” box! If you only want to photograph siblings and not the whole family, there’s a checkbox for that, too. We’ll talk about what to wear during your session planning consultation.
I have twins - do I have to schedule 2 sessions?
Only if you want to (but that would be 2 separate days)! But I can photograph them both during the same sunset session for an additional $30 (just check the “Add Someone” box when you book). I suggest limiting them to just 2 outfits each, however.
We’ll even do some photos of them together, too!
